One of my first stops in NYC – and I almost didn’t leave.
The Oculus is so photogenic it feels like it was built just for photographers… or pigeons with good taste.
Spent way too long here just watching people walk like they’re part of the architecture.
And yes – this one was shot on iPhone. Sometimes the pocket camera does the job. 📱📸

Waiting at Sydney Central for @NarrelleMHarris to arrive on the train from Melbourne; she's not a fan of the sleeper experience so preferred to come up on the daytime train.

Yet again I'm noticing how desolate the long-distance section of the station is after 9-5 working hours. There should be a great pub-like bar here, open till 10pm or so, but sadly not.

The beautiful former refreshment rooms are now a mediocre cafe-bar which has bad online reviews and is hardly ever open. Would be a great location for, say, a Newtown craft brewer to set up shop, with good beer and burgers etc. Then I'd be spending money while waiting for a train, rather than sitting on a bench watching the clock.
