19.52 The rain has put the family into full punk mode but it's stopped now and the sun has come out. Ma Stork circles the nest before flying in with supper for the hungry storklets. And there's more fine weather in the forecast for #SolarPunkSunday

Stork update! There's at least two storklings up in there. They're growing fast and make all kinds of cute squeaks now. Some sound like a frog, which I'm not sure if it's the baby storks or their food.

It took a few weeks, but now they're big enough you can sometimes see them peeking over the edge of the nest.

They clacker their little black beaks almost as loud as a big one.

Parents very busy bringing all the takeout food the kids keep ordering.

Stork nest photographed at crummy phonecam zoom past a big bush into a grim sky. There's an adult stork with its head pulled back so you see the spiky neckfeathers and a small head just above the rim of the nest, which is one of the little ones.
Same stork nest a few days earlier. The kids aren't visible, but the adult stork is standing there with its beak open, telling a bedtime story to the kids. No actually it was repairing the nest which took some damage from the intense rain or perhaps a bodged landing.
