Melodica take two.

The cheap and faulty model is going back for a refund, replaced by this rather better instrument. Decided to go for a known brand, made in Japan, instead of another dip into the vast ocean of all plastic, mainly identical Chinese offerings, which are very much built to a price. Of course, Suzuki will also be building to a price, but when you consider that the most expensive melodica (or melodion, as they confusingly call them) in their range sells for north of £1,000 it's clear that they don't let mass sales be the only factor.

I've been out on the bike *every day* since Wednesday, and she's been an absolute treat so far. Versatile, predictable, and a fantastic intersection between a sporty spirit and a gracious ride.

Gotta be mindful of the throttle in residential areas though - her K6 inline-four block ✨loves✨ to make itself heard through the #Mivv pipe 😄

Unbelievable that money can buy this.

Hey fediverse, I'm looking for (new to me) #motorcycle . Probably street (preferably faired, but could check out naked aswell) or sportstourer, with at least 600cc displacement and fuel injection in 4k EUR range, so nothing new, somewhere around year 2010.
Looking to big 4 - #honda #kawasaki #suzuki #yamaha , but would be glad to check out another manufacturers.
Anything to recomend?

Hi, does anyone out there have any experience with the #Suzuki Swift hybrid?
I'm looking to replace my oldish Toyota Prius and the Swift hybrid looks equivalent but with modern luxuries like a reversing camera and adaptive cruise control. Also I'm hoping it doesn't have one of the integrated, online, spyware consoles.

“A #Japanese transport ministry raid found #Toyota – along with #Mazda, #Honda and #Suzuki – submitted inaccurate #SafetyData and used specifically modified vehicles to #manipulate crash-test results.

Production resumed in September 2024 after the vehicles were retested and Toyota apologised – but this may have been the catalyst for the car maker dropping them from their range, the ageing models to be effectively replaced by the new-generation #Corolla that launched in 2018.”
