It’s simple and certainly appears to work, but I discovered a different system which will apparently work with <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mac</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> (all of which I use these days), using my licensed copy of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SyncBackPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SyncBackPro</span></a> for Windows. Plus, that allows me to choose a backup destination that isn’t just a local drive on the same box, and I can compress and do delta backups and a whole stack of other stuff.</p><p><a href="https://www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/sbt.html" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">2brightsparks.com/syncback/sbt</span><span class="invisible">.html</span></a></p><p>Still experimenting.</p>
