It was great meeting and discussing with @asymco at the Swiss embassy for #trbam to discuss the vision for a sustainable city. Thought provoking and some reasons to be hopeful!

Another idea from the #TRBAM reproducible research workshop is how to give credit for punishing data and code with articles. Reviewers won’t have time to validate. Perhaps another reviewer just for validation?

The idea of paying something like an APC reflects the current (broken) system of publishing. You know Elsevier and Springer Nature would figure out how to profit on that and who would pay? The public. #scholcomm #OpenAccess #OpenScience

TRB has been trying to improve the review and publication process for a while, but it sounds like the time is now to really find solutions. They will be hiring an editor in chief for the TRR this year.

They are so ugly. What an omen for #TRBAM.
