Staff mostly only spoke mandarin, and the owner was personally looking after things last night.

I’m not being vague about the business — they’re having a soft soft opening this week for people in the owner’s LINE group.

The windows are still covered, so not exactly open to the public yet.

North Phoenix/Glendale area. Will post full details when it opens.

They do have one small banner up, so if you know, you know.

The usual trappings are the, included small buffet of items, corn soup, fruit, egg rolls, dumplings, little octopuses, drinks, garlic bread — all included in the price of a steak. (No ice cream, though)

These are set course meals, basically, so they have steak, squid, and chicken IIRC. (I only care about steak)

It is a bit strange for people used to western steakhouses.

The CHIPS Act, introduced under the Biden administration, was seen as the first step by the US to restore its status as the dominant #semiconductor country. The primary aim of the incentive was to bring chip production to the country, and with it, we saw the likes of #TSMC, #Intel, and many others opening up new facilities in the region.

Hey current #orangeintheOval #regime! Why is #tsmc coming to #arizona?
Thanks to the #CHIPS act that’s why! we have semiconductor manufacturers coming to the States. Not because of something you thought of yesterday. Just exactly how stupid are the people who voted for Donald Trump? The 22.7% of the population who did? I think a subset of you are just cynical and greedy, larger than the subset who are gullible believers.
Thank you Gina #Raimundo and congress that Passed this…And the #ira.
