He literally leaned into THE X-FILES theme on his keyboard after creator Chris Carter rejected previous attempts.
Composer Mark Snow, who created the iconic The X-Files theme, has died at 78. Snow's other notable credits include Millennium, Smallville, The Ghost Whisperer, Blue Bloods, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and The New Mutants.

Twilight Zone - this game would take place in a world very similar to our own, except that there are phenomena signalling that the world is stranger than we think: cryptids, flying saucers, ghosts, etc. While shows like #TheXFiles and #Fringe are my main source of inspiration, I’m not really interested in running this as a horror game. Simply a game of exploration, wonder, and problem-solving. 3/?

Today, March 7, in 1992, Dr. Dana Scully and FBI agent Fox Mulder work on their first case together, traveling to northwest Oregon to investigate potential alien abductions (The X-Files, s01e01 “Pilot”, 1993)
Ooh, one of the Sulibans can squeeze through tight spaces just like Tooms from The X-Files.
nb: The episodes that involved Tooms still have me the absolute freaking squick feeling when I think about them. 
The #TwinPeaks revival aired in-between the two #TheXFiles revival seasons, and the two projects have different legacies. Twin Peaks gave us a wildly different approach on how to make a continuation while also subverting fans' expectations, a project of unique artistic ambition that commented on the passage of time and consisted in a sort of synthesis of #DavidLynch's entire career.

Love The X-Files and I love the fact that it was so successful that it forced other networks to copy them and we had an explosion of Sci-Fi in the 90s!
