JanArz<p>Not many birds out this am, but I saw the <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/chickadees" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>chickadees</span></a> and <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/titmice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>titmice</span></a> were hovering close to me. I had some raw almonds in my pocket &amp; decided to see if they would eat out of my hand. I broke up the nuts into smaller pieces &amp; held out my hand. Within seconds they came to get their treat, taking turns. Their tiny claws are so delicate when they grab onto you! What a joy! <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/Birdphotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Birdphotography</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/naturephotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>naturephotography</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/birdpics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdpics</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/naturephotographer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>naturephotographer</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/nybirding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nybirding</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/cutebirds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cutebirds</span></a> <a href="https://masto.nyc/tags/photographersofmastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>photographersofmastodon</span></a></p>
Ostdrossel :verified:<p>Two cuties to go into the weekend. The <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Bluebirds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bluebirds</span></a> are visiting every day but she has still not started to build yet. I recognize her by her furrowed brow. Her man is around a lot more but I hope when we go into April she will finally get to work on her nest. The <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Titmice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Titmice</span></a> were plenty and vocal today, and this one just cracked me up. Here’s to a great <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/weekend" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>weekend</span></a>! <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birds</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdsofMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdsofMastodon</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdsofnorthamerica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdsofnorthamerica</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdwatching" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdwatching</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Ostdrossel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ostdrossel</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdphotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdphotography</span></a></p>
Ostdrossel :verified:<p>I am so happy to see that the <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Titmice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Titmice</span></a> have found their way back here. They are not just totally adorable but also a lot of fun to watch and listen to. In the spring, you can hear their surprisingly loud <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/PETERPETERPETER" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PETERPETERPETER</span></a> sounding through the air. Right now, they sound a lot like Chickadees, making grumpy little noises when they are not happy with the spread or notice competition.</p><p><a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birds</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdsofMastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdsofMastodon</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdsofnorthamerica" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdsofnorthamerica</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/pureMichigan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pureMichigan</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/TuftedTitmouse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TuftedTitmouse</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/birdwatching" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>birdwatching</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/Ostdrossel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ostdrossel</span></a></p>
