Today one of #USRepresentative Brian Mast's district offices turned its landscape sprinkler system on about 40 #SeniorCitizens gathered to demand he schedule a #TownHall, something he has not offered constituents of any age since 2017.
The good natured crowd was undeterred & heard to say:
"OK Brian, we'll get wet
But you ain't had
A Town Hall yet!"
Imagine spraying old ladies rather than answering their questions. Some fecking hero.
I currently live in Michigan's 10th district, our US Rep is Republican John James, who refuses to hold a town hall, so the Dems are holding one instead.
Despite scheduling it for the same day and time as the Tesla Takedown protest today, all 644 seats are full.
Disclaimer: I do not think the Democratic party can get us out of this mess.

John Cornyn has refused to hold an actual #TownHall in years, only holding phone town halls where he has total control. He doesn't even have anyone to answer his phones, all you can do is leave messages. Who knows if anyone even listens to them before deleting them.
Here in #Texas, he's known as Cornyn the Coward. He is too cowardly to even talk to his constituents. I don't know why such a coward keeps getting re-elected. Then again, our other senator is Ted Cruz.
