Holy crap y'all, Quickemu is amazing! I got Windows 10, (English United States cause English International only allowed me to choose English UK for some reason), installed it with Narrator, downloaded and installed NVDA, and it barely feels like I'm running a VM at all. I kinda wonder if it'd work well at all on the BTSpeak. I could imagine it passing through Braille access on a future BTBraille.

Anyway, two commands I've figured out so far, Control + Alt + G gives control back to Linux, and Control + Alt + F puts the VM in fullscreen.

It's weird how some things just stay with you. My first exposure to mainframes was VM/CMS back in the mid-80s at IBM. Back then, the command to clear the screen was 'CLS'. I must have typed that hundreds of times over the years. Now I always add CLS as an alias for 'Clear' on my ZSH profile on macOS. As I say, weird.

ProxMox Load Balancer

A new version is released.

If you deal with ProxMox in any form you'd be wise to see what this powerful tool can do for you. When you realize it is one of the tools you've been missing in managing your different VMS in ProxMox, rest assured you will be very glad you now know of its existence.

Without going into too much details because, I want you to read the documentation yourself, you know that when you need to move a VM from One ProxMox controlled server to another one, there are procedures you need to follow

You also know that when you need to balance the load on your different servers, by which I mean your Hardware Servers, you also know that from time to time, you literally need to move a number of VMS(!) from one server to another, in your server cluster or Server clusters, plural. You know how much time that can take.

Now go read your docs, I've inspired you

Anyone have good success running #macOS inside a #vm on non-apple hardware?

It's upgrade time for a PC at the theatre, which *has* to be a mac to support the industry standard show player #QLab.

I really do not want to give apple a penny and will overspend on an AMD based solution if need be.

Gimme some good news, fedi!
