Huge thanks to @mczachurski for adding RSS/ATOM feeds to Vernissage user profiles today! I've been waiting for this.
Because of this, all of my posts that I make on Vernissage will now be auto posted to this Mastodon account automatically via EchoFeed which @robb maintains!

Use your invites wisely and bring in those who truly appreciate the art of photography.
Since making the decision to leave Pixelfed a couple of weeks ago, I'm struggling to find a good place that I want to host the photos that I post each day.
I recently went over to Flickr and to be honest, I'm just not feeling it. There are quite a few issues or features that are missing that seem so basic that we should have in 2025.
I'm not sure I'm going to stick with it for the foreseeable future.
Currently testing @vernissage by @mczachurski and really liking it. Just hoping it gets an RSS feed feature super soon so I can have EchoFeed post my photos from Vernissage to Mastodon.
I've created an account at https://vernissage.photos/@beardedtechguy that will now replace Pixelfed for me.
It still in beta but I am liking what I see and the developer is actually one of the ones that Daniel screwed over. He decided to take Vernissage (used to be Impressia, a Pixelfed app) standalone and is now a separate platform.
If you want to give it a shot, let me know, I can get you an invite code.

Edit 2 : J'ai un code d'invit pour #Vernissage, un réseau en bêta connecté au #Fediverse.
C'est dédié à la #photographie avec des outils spécifiques (gestion de l'exif, affichage en HDR et sûrement plein de trucs bien)
Avant de partager le code : l'instance de base est hébergée chez Amazon 
et il y a de l'IA intégrée pour les alt text 
et pour les hashtag .
(C'est de l'opt-in déjà.)
Je vais voir pour les tests et regarder si ça pourrait être mieux avec des instances plus "ethiques".
