Yesterday morning's light #snow on a #RockGarden in front of the house, only partly melted out of the #winter snow pack (highest part is a lot of snow; mounds in the background just snow). The house is just to the right, so it has been shovelled there and also the light/heat reflects off the wall, so that side melts first though it is north facing. A lighter dusting last night, still lots of winter snow around, but days in the low to mid teens C coming. #Spring #garden #Alberta #Canada #weather

Frosty

This image was captured right after a decent snow storm came through Yosemite Valley.
This beautiful snow covered tree stood out against the muted evergreens behind them.
The snow was unbroken and presents a beautiful white carpet leading back to the tree.
The oak, with it's broad branches seemed to have captured more snow than those around it.

Could only get 5K up Hellroaring Road in Rock Crk. Canyon from the 2200m start, to about 2500m. Then too deep of melting thick powder. Gives great views up the canyon, then goes up Hellroaring Crk. gulch, to the plateau. Bridge washed out in 2022 flood 2600m, that creek is bad May-late July. Then easier crossing. 0C or so, moderate W wind, not bad. That time of year, more new neighbors in town. We all get along great 👍. #wildlife #gye #montana #hiking #winter #mountains

The shoreline of Lake Huron.
The overnight freezing rain has stopped, followed by snow, and now we have sunshine. I hope that will help softening the accumulated ice.
Getting rid of that will be a job!
