Great_Albums<p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GreatAlbums1960s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GreatAlbums1960s</span></a> - <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TheBeatles" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheBeatles</span></a> - <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/YellowSubmarine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>YellowSubmarine</span></a> (1969). Although it is only half a Beatles album, the place of this LP in the band’s canon is assured via the snarling “Hey Bulldog,” the playful “All Together Now,” and two of George’s loopier psychedelic excursions. And though I sometimes wish “All You Need is Love” would disappear in the Sea of Holes, it does fit the mood. Plus, George Martin’s program music on Side 2 is quite enjoyable – in a Mantovani on acid kind of way. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GreatRockAlbums" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GreatRockAlbums</span></a></p>
