All I really want to say is that anyone can find themselves struggling with a dependency, regardless of any personal or cultural variable. And it is not a moral failing. It is a mental aberration. It is no choice. It becomes an absence of choice.</p><p>If you are struggling with addiction, please know that you are not bad, you are not hopeless, and you are not alone. I could not have survived to make it to this point without other addicts helping me. You are not alone. Please, reach out. You are worth it.</p><p>My gratitude is boundless.
