Hello Everyone, I guess I'll let this serve as my #introduction #about.

I'm Tsargoth or Tsar as some call me. I've been online since the early 90s, I believe my first access to usenet was around the '93 mark where I had frequented alt.fan.dragons. Remember those days? My PC back then only had a 2400baud modem. We didn't have a real local ISP back in those days. When 95 came around things started to change and I signed on to a local provider and I'm actually still with them today. I had jumped around a few times particularly when DSL became available but I always came back.

Anyhow, with my first access to usenet all those years ago was the first time I considered that I might not be completely out of my mind about my otherkin beliefs. I didn't even know what it was called back then. Around the turn of the millenium I started a project called draconomicon that later became draconity.org and participated in that community for close to a decade.

Life, as always, has a way of happening and I stepped away from that the local office of my workplace showed signs that it would close down and I ended up switching to a US branch, which I work for to this day remotely.

Over the years I've still been around fairly quiet mainly in some furry communities and discords, occasional #TTRPG related ones and other gaming ones such as #WoW. I've become more cautious online (Ask me about my stalker).

Recently I've wanted to expand my social circle some albeit carefully and not really trusting corprate run social media I've tinkered with Mastodon as a platform where I can write and post about things of interest liking how I can protect my information on the platform. And while I absolutely love Mastodon there are a couple things that annoy me that have lead me to experiment with alternate federated platforms. I've dabbled with three different platforms over the past week and I'm just now settling on one (I hope).

Now, anyone who's previously followed me I apologize for the number of differnet accounts I've been following from over the past few days. The only way to really get used to these new platforms is to use them and for that I needed to be able to interact with the same contacts. This should be the last time. Thanks for being patient.

Lastly, this account, is my #NSFW channel. one where I'll primarily be posting #FurryArtwork much of it made by my partner @embyr but might occasionally include some other artists. I'll also be boosting and liking other furry content from here and promoting other content from Embyr. That being said I will note that due to a bug in Mastodon content warnings are not properly applied to images I will be sending from this account. Its a known issue and I very much hope it will be fixed. Currently the platform I'm using (Friendica) has a feature request to work around the mastodon issue but that ticket is only about 2 months old where the mastodon bug report is over a year old. So if you don't want to see any NSFW content then its probably best not to follow this channel. I will put content warnings on everything but I can't promise mastodon will respect them especially when it comes to images. My primary channel @tsargoth will be for more general conent and will probably not include much in furry content and should be safe follow. I may however speak on other topics rarely regarding legal drug use and a whole lot on other nerdy things like sci-fi and TTRPGS and such. As for my current Mastodon account @tsargoth I intend to keep that one for the moment. Who knows I may find another platform I like more.
