We've just been to the cinema to see AFRAID.

Verdict: it had some promise, with plausible attempts to describe and play on both hopes and fears around the current state of the LLM "AI" art.

But the plot was pretty shallow and by the last 15-20 minutes it just descended into silliness and farce.

I'd maybe give it a 5/10 on account of having a couple of good laughs, one or two slightly less-than-predictable jump scares, and some not bad acting.

I think #MSM (big corporations) including #MSNBC see it like this:

1) If they trash #Biden and #BidenHarris2024 wins the election, they will be fine because a #Biden #Administration wont punish them.

2) If they trash #Biden and #MAGA wins, they will be fine.

3) If they trash #MAGA and #MAGA wins, MAGA will harrass and possibly end them.

They are #Afraid for themselves and #Fear is also a good #Business #Model for #News #media

Support the Resistance

Yesterday I noticed my #dog seemed to be #afraid to #approach her water #bowl. The bowl sits next to stove, which has a stainless steel finish & she can see a blurry reflection of herself as she approaches it. It's been in the same place for over a year w/o a problem.

I knew she was thirsty so put a small container on the bed & kept filling it w/water until she had had enough. That was a dumb idea because it got my bed wet, but she drank nearly a full bottle of water.

Now what to do. 🤔
