The cumulative climate pollution from the life of this one project will thus considerably exceed the sum of Australia's projected national domestic emissions for the next decade or more.</p><p>Of all the legacies of this Labor government, this decision (alongside giving the green light to dozens more coal and gas projects) will ultimately be the most impactful.
