Revisions got you down? Are you getting in your own way a lot? Are you struggling with procrastination, distractions, or lack of support?
You’re not alone! This happens to everyone. I wrote a little ebook that might help. And it’s free! Check it out at https://AlexKourvo.com/FreeBook

Sometimes four short sentences are better than a single 140-word behemoth built with creaky semicolons and sticky tape.
Instead of, "Read our _white paper_ on 'cats rule,'" write, "Read our white paper on _cats rule_."
Put the link on the title. It highlights it. And then you don’t have to wonder where to put the quotation marks, or whether to italicize anything. And MUCH better for SEO. #AmEditing
Be careful not to mix up "prescribe" and "proscribe." They're basically opposites — that one-letter difference means a lot.

I've seen some questions about how to cite webpages or data the Trump administration has removed from government sites but that have been archived elsewhere, like on the Internet Archive.
This post has some examples from common citation styles: https://www.wordsbywes.ink/articles/usage/citing-archived-us-government-pages-and-data/

Why a diverse pool of readers/editors matters: Because they will notice if you, say, write a whole list of famous people and don’t include any women. #amediting
In February I wrote a total of 19845 words of 37999 total words on the year so far, plus spent 4 hours 35 minutes revising/editing #amwriting #amediting
I blogged about my February in Writing, where I:
- finished my third draft,
- began reading the book in chapter order for the first time, and
- did a lot of research on developmental editing services.

It was great to see so many EASE members at our Awards ceremony last week, where we celebrated those who have made the largest contributions to the growth and success of EASE over the past year.
The recording is now on our YouTube channel, so you can catch up if you missed it.
