:neuro: Pixy's Journey :v_bi:After talking to <a href="https://mastodon.social/@si_irini" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@si_irini</a> , I decided to write some more for an upcoming blog that I have been working on. And I wanted to share a little bit that will be included in the post...> I was talking to a sweet friend online about how the writing helps us. She writes stories and poems. But, it seems they have the same effect on her, as my posts and Toots have for me. They give a sense of calm when we write. They help us to relax, to feel good, to feel some euphoria when we are on a roll. A feeling of getting a small "high", of accomplishment, maybe even as rush of endorphins. Maybe, in a sense, we can be addicted to our writing. Maybe that's also why we miss it so much when we can't do it... When our brains won't allow us to write, when our time is limited and we can't sit down to clear our minds... The post won't go live for a bit, as I am still working on it, and I am trying to write some posts in advance, so there will be things to be shared after my surgery. As I guess I won't be feeling all up to it to write decent posts every day. :ablobcatangel: So I am writing posts in advance... I can always shuffle them around when I have a more "up to date post" that "needs to go first". 😊 I have a +1800 daily posting streak, so I would be *very* bummed if I would break that due to the surgery. So, I try to write stuff in advance so that I have less "stress" over it... parisI made some headway in ｢lupercal｣ despite job (not work) stresses, only to run face-first into a wall of having said X in an earlier chapter, only to directly contradict X later on with Y.Instead of cutting either, I’ll let it percolate a bit: maybe X and Y aren’t mutually exclusive; maybe there’s circumstances that allow X and Y to coexist.
