donthatedontkill<p>This is an appreciation post for my doctor. She's the best. (I have hypertension that so far has not really responded to any treatment. I've had it off and on since I was a teenager but these days it's more on than off.) I see her quite regularly and she just got back from maternity leave! Avijit Ghosh<p>Like most nerdy students/academics I used to have difficulty talking to and making friends, but at some point it changed. I think it’s when I started being more vocal about positive feelings. I love telling new-ish acquaintances “hey I think you’re really cool and I’m glad we’re friends” and it made a massive difference in terms of return rate of folks wanting to continue to be friends with me.
