This Is My GlasgowLove the repeating pattern of windows on the former Glasgow Stock Exchange on Nelson Mandela Place in Glasgow. While the main stock exchange building was designed by John Burnet and was constructed in 1875, these windows are part of the western addition designed by his son, J.J. Construction lasted between 1973 and 1987, with occupation starting in 1982. The medical library pictured here was among this first wave of construction. AJ SadauskasThe Brunswick Centre in London. The ground floor is made up of cafés, shops, and a Waitrose supermarket. Above are tiered flats. I can see why its construction was controversial, as it totally doesn't fit the surrounding neighbourhood.
