So the people who overthrew the murderous dictatorship of #Assad are being called rebels, and #terrorists. Isn't it their country? I guess the Zionists have final say over what the US government does.

But your enemies will never be my enemies.

"Antony Blinken said the US had made “direct contact” with Syria’s victorious Hayat Tahrir al-Sham rebels as western and Arab states along with #Turkey jointly voiced support for a united, peaceful #Syria.

The US secretary of state’s comment is despite Washington having designated the HTS rebels as terrorists in 2018."

Of course this is what the Imperium-aligned media want us to believe - that *all* of #Syria are celebrating #Assad’s downfall! I am pretty confident that, while a large number of Syrians are celebrating, there are a considerable number who are less enthusiastic about now living in a country run by a bunch of #US/#Turkyie/#UK/#Israel/#NATO-enabled #ISIS terrorists!

Perhaps should try harder to provide a more balanced, truthful narrative in your reporting on Syria!
