@DanielleVossebeld @ajsadauskas I think the most interesting part is the architectural style.

It's influencing the look and design of buildings 100 years later!

I've attached a photo of the Rietveld Schröder House from 1924, alongside a new apartment block in Parramatta built in the 2020s that I almost moved into.

And what's really interesting is that many of the same design ideas are still being used on new buildings nearly 100 years later!

Flat rectangular shapes, in white and grey. Minimal ornamentation. Flat roof.

I could show a photo of the Rietveld Schröder House to someone who's not familiar with it, tell them it's a new townhouse that was just completed in Western Sydney, and they'd believe me.

That's what I mean by it looks 100 years ahead of its time.

And it looks radically different to many other buildings that were built in that same timeframe.

So if you want to see the original grand-daddy of contemporary housing design, the very first one of this style is in Utrecht.

Which shows what a genius Gerrit Rietveld was, and how influential his design ideas are!

You don't get it.

In the past, the brick throwing machine was always failing its target and nowadays it is almost always hitting near its target. It depends on how good you are asking the machine to throw bricks (you need to assume some will miss and correct accordingly).

Eventually, brick throwing machines will get so good that they will rely on gravitational forces to place the bricks perfectly and auto-build houses.

Plus you can vibe build: let it throw some random bricks and start building around.
You will be surprised of what it can achieve.
