Do you want to speak about #accessibility at the 11ty Conference 2024? Proposals for 22-minute or 11-minute (lightning) talks are welcome. The call for proposals is open now until end of day (UTC) March 22. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI #CallForPapers #CallForSpeakers #Eleventy #11ty

Google DocsSo you want to speak at the 11ty International Symposium on Making Web Sites Real Good (11ty Conference 2024)We are doing an open call for talk proposals to the 11ty Conference! This is a virtual (online-only) event happening on May 9, 2024. For more information on the event, visit https://conf.11ty.dev/ with a special nod to our code of conduct here: https://conf.11ty.dev/2024/code-of-conduct/ If you’d like to speak at our conference, please fill out the following form (and optionally revise your submission) before the call closes on March 22, 2024. We will take (a maximum of) approximately two weeks to review the proposals and make our selections. Note that the review process will not be anonymous — our goal is to provide a diverse group of speakers to reflect the diverse audience watching the talks. You will receive an email if you were or were not selected. What we’re looking for We’re looking for a mix of 22-minute or 11-minute (lightning) talks on a variety of topics that will interest folks that care about the craft of building for the web: Best Practices That Work (CSS), Development Trends (e.g. Navigating the Great Divide), Jamstack, Front of the front end Development, Design Systems, Accessibility, Open Source, Web Performance (and probably some Eleventy too!). We prefer that talks are given live on the day of the event but are happy to make additional accommodations as necessary (upon request). If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to us at conf-organizers@11ty.dev. Complimentary swag and honoraria Speakers will receive a complimentary official 11ty Conference swag bag (it will likely contain stickers) and a small honorarium: $220 for a 22-minute talk, $110 for a 11-minute talk. If you are representing a company and are prohibited from accepting an honorarium, you may choose to donate your honorarium to an open source project of your choice. Privacy Email addresses entered here will only be used for this speaker submission form (to enable editing of your own submission and to allow us to contact you when selections are made). This form and subsequent data will be stored for our own future reference but not shared with any other parties.
