Soft candlelight from real candles illuminated the dim environment in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, the first Serbian Orthodox Church in Ljubljana Slovenia. The warm glow created a serene and contemplative atmosphere.

Puisque j'ai réussi à le retirer d'un bloc (plus la place pour mettre une bougie digne de ce nom), je ne vais pas le jeter et en faire un porte-bougie (les petites plates). Il faudra d'abord que je bouche le creux avec de la cire fondue (on va sacrifier quelques bougies plates) puis que je creuse un trou pour insérer les prochaines.
The oldest preserved #candles north of the Alps. They were made from beeswax around 1,400 years ago. Found in the early medieval burial site in Oberflacht. The damp environment preserved the candles in good condition.
