I waited almost 30 minutes for a bus that never showed up. So I booked a <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/carshare" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#carshare</a> for a day and drove home. The roads were flooded, but made it home.

Very easy where we live in the West End. We joined <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Communauto" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Communauto</a> as soon as we moved here & ditched one of the 2 cars we'd needed in the suburbs. Everything we need is close by - a bus route to work at the end of our street & at least 3 <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/CarShare" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#CarShare</a> options within a 5 min walk. Cycling infrastructure still sucks in <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/ZeroVisionHFX" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ZeroVisionHFX</a> but it is slowly being built (although well behind schedule).
