British comedian turned right-wing influencer and self-styled wellness guru Russell Brand has been charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault. The alleged offences took place within 1999 and 2005, and the charges relate to four separate women. Brand has been told to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court, London, on May 2.
