I'm experimenting with gram.social using a client that is not designed to work with it
So far everything I need works properly in the client.
Certain things error out but it's simply because gram.social is a different kind of Beast on the FediVerse.
One major Improvement is the fact that the speed with which the client responds is much higher than in the web interface.
The client is just much less clunkier than the web interface
So pleased! Кажется, я нашёл внезапно относительно вменяемый и даже почти нативный клиент для Mastodon-совместимых инстансов.
У него, к сожалению, есть фатальный недостаток: он на GTK4.
Тем не менее, попытаюсь им пользоваться дальше, т.к. от него не возникает ощущения безысходности, которое возникает при взгляде на другие клиенты типа всяких Fedistar, TheDesk и подобных.
Называется Tuba: https://tuba.geopjr.dev
Из плюсов - адаптивная вёрстка. Из минусов - хоть и может сидеть в фоне и получать обновления - не рисует иконку в трее - как минимум у меня в Plasma.
Работает как минимум в Linux и Windows.

It's hard to find a good fediverse client for iOS, so I thought I would share my expectations-exceeded experience while using Ice Cubes. It's clean, fast, and seemingly well-written (I've yet to peruse the source). Yes. It's OPEN SOURCE and excellent. If you are using any other app, even a paid one, on an iPhone right now, go give this one a shot. It is F R E E!

OMG as mozilla (thunderbird / FireFox) seems to start cooperation with Meta I am looking for a mail client, free, open source, for Mac OS / iOS and Linux..
Any advice appreciated! 
edit: they started already in 2022: https://news.itsfoss.com/mozilla-meta-facebook/ The latest report was about something with AI. Have to re-search the origin....
It took me less than 10 minutes configuring everything, and the newly released Spotifyd, combined with spotify-qt, solved my headaches using #Spotify.
I don’t have to deal with the awful, buggy, laggy, and icky Spotify default #webapp anymore

Just discovered #Mastodon #client #app @rodentapp and it's really raising the bar for UX among #Android #fediverse clients. Lots of great usability upgrades to the reading experience in an attractive package.
One thing I haven't figured out yet is how to view my followed hashtags as a feed. Would be nice to be able to choose them from within the custom feed dialog so I can form them into custom feeds by topic. Keep up the great work!
