Mark Sanders<p>This is an idea I have been proposing for years. Super excited to see it hold ground and value for indigenous tribes. Excited to dive deeper into their approach, outcomes and challenges. <a href="https://atmos.earth/indigenous-groups-are-safeguarding-culture-with-their-own-chatgpt/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">atmos.earth/indigenous-groups-</span><span class="invisible">are-safeguarding-culture-with-their-own-chatgpt/</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/indigenoustech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>indigenoustech</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/aiforunderstanding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>aiforunderstanding</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/communitytech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>communitytech</span></a></p>

Clayton Dewey<p>The WordPress drama really highlights the need to move away from an opaque dictatorship governance model. </p><p>When the dictators stop being benevolent shit gets real messy.</p><p>Also, with a transparent, formal (and ideally democratic!) governance model it's easier for disputes to get resolved responsibly. </p><p>Are there folks in the WordPress community organizing around this? Luis Villa<p>So community friends: what’s the difference between a community having a mid-life crisis (needing vision and clarity, but still worth keeping) and a community that needs hospice care (a beloved sendoff and closing rituals)?
