Sec of State #Blinken reiterated the msg in Brussels on Thurs. & Sen #ChrisCoons, a close #Biden ally & a staunch supporter of #Israel, said the #UnitedStates is “at that point” where #conditions must be placed on #MilitaryAid to Israel.
The changing dynamic comes as Israel plans to invade the southern #Gaza city of #Rafah, where up to 1.5M #Palestinians are sheltering in decrepit conditions after fleeing there under Israeli orders. #US ofcls have warned Israel against a major campaign in Rafah.

@Ulrich_the_Elder Technically, the term "genocide" is not applicable unless the targeted group consists solely of #children in the territory, there are no #adults capable of #reproduction, or only one #biological #gender has #survived. Moreover, it's #important to note that these #conditions do not preclude the possibility of #individuals from different #ethnicities to #procreate.

anyway #genocide is always wrong #IMO and should never take place.

Im really afraid of using the #emergencyroom when there are signs I need to go. 7 years ago I had a very bad experience where besides having to wait a long time I also had to have blood work done, which is extremely stressful for me cause I have really bad #needleanxiety. And after all that time there, they weren’t able to find any #conditions I had with my #chest. Since then, I have not been back to an #emergency room even when I have #symptoms that say I should go there. I also live alone now and I often don’t feel like calling an #ambulance since I’ve never been in an ambulance before. Honestly what would be easier for me is if I had a #friend to go with me whenever I feel I need to go in order to help assist me, but I doubt I will find anything that works.

Today I took part in #industrialaction for the first time, choosing to join my #PCS comrades on the #picketline for a day of national #strike action! 🚩

This is not something me, or my colleagues in the public sector have taken likely, forgoing a days pay will have an impact on #workers across the country.

To bring about the change needed to protect #pay #pensions and #conditions is to continue to strike and strike again!
