Я запомнил Карлоса Гарайкоа (Гарайкою?) по его элегантным архитектурным ниточкам на первой Московской биеннале. В Музее ничего.

Две бумажные башни, подсвеченные изнутри лампочками. Светильники в японском стиле. Левая башня заканчивается высоким острым конусом, правая чем-то округлым, похожим на половую головку. Башни соединены двухъярусным мостом. // Two paper towers, illuminated from the inside by bulbs. The lamps are in Japanese style. Работа посвящена Махсе Амини, ну и во вторую очередь вспыхнувшим в Иране осенью 2022 года феминистским протестам.

На стене висит разбитое на шесть крупных фрагментов квадратное зеркало. Из-под одного из осколков свешиваются длинные тёмные прямые волосы, которые выходят за пространство зеркала и по длине где-то в полтора раза длиннее стороны зеркального квадрата. Зеркало снято так (или фотография обработана так), что в зеркале ничего не отражается. В пояснениях к работе не говорится, настоящие ли это человеческие волосы или искусственные. Фотография почти бесцветна. // On the wall hangs a square mirror broken into six large fragments. Long dark straight hair hangs from under one of the fragments, extending beyond the space of the mirror and about one and a half times longer than the side of the mirror square. The mirror is photographed in such a way (or the photograph is processed in such a way) that nothing is reflected in the mirror. За трубу поставлен отполированный латунный прямоугольник, играющий роль металлического зеркала. Перед зеркалом рядом с трубой установлена скульптура кряквы, с любопытством заглядывающей за трубу и смотрящей там правым глазом на своё отражение.
