So I should re #introduce myself; used to host my own instance at artemai when that was a thing; decided to get back on Mastodon again because the rest of social is a dumpsterfire.

@sarahjamielewis i would like to see you get more additive in nature like decentralized distributed p2p compute portals, projects like securedrop and books like the hacks series - a lot of collected ip, i'd like to see you boot like 3 or 4 different os at once and paste between screens - you need to find a good sales and mkt person and get some rev streams started #content #targeted ads #backlinks

Indeed. Very well said.

As with creative work in art, so with education. I got a request by a student the other week. They'd be missing one of my lectures. (This is fine, we have recovery mechanisms.) Could I give them the lecture content beforehand.

I don't provide content. I provide a learning space: a live encounter with the subject, a place where those who participate can re-structure the way they see the phenomena we study. A place for personal change, not a delivery of content.

(I offered to the student that I could meet them for a personal review of that week's work, once they are back.)
