Need =/= want

Now there may be a few individuals who have told me outright they want my #creations

If you don't stand #reciprocal care idgaf about you - honestly you can die with the rest of us who you're feeding to the death machine and my soul will laugh at your individualistic ass from hell

I don't care if I end up a #martyr
Hell I welcome it but I can't be so self involved to not stay to light the way for those who DO stand up for this planet and their fellow species of human

#inktober prompt 20: uncharted

finally, a quick one! took me about 20 minutes. drawn from memory so i'm sure some parts aren't right. I think there may have been 4 rectangular holes at the bottom maybe? and the smaller circular holes may be oriented differently?

don't have my own mixtape to go with it, but if you like early 2000s minimal techno kinda stuff, you might wanna check out "smells like thinner", published by @kraftfuttermischwerk

#inktober prompt 19: @ridge

huh, that's a bit personal, but i guess i can 😏

this is a drawing of Ridge's fursona, lotte. I hope you like it, Ridge! and thanks for allowing me to draw her 😊!

i feel like the lineart version works better in this case, and there's much to refine if i had more time…

#inktober prompt 18: drive

gaah, i need to stop doing realistic drawings. this took me fricking ages.

i tried to find a car that's appealing to me and found the Squad Solar. As the name suggest it's an electric microcar with a solar panel roof. reference is a frame of a promotional video.

The driver is Hesa, my favorite plushy as a little kid, that unfortunately has been lost. but we still have it's blue sibling which i could use as reference.

here's some doodles i did in 2018 and that i recently got around to scanning.

it's was during one of those "get yourself a job"-mindset courses (which had some rather odd messages, btw…).

the first one i drew was the tryptamine one, i think it's also the best. but i kinda found it amusing to "draw drugs" during that course, lol.

structural formulas in #graffiti style definitely have potential. some of the colors are more vivid IRL because they are drawn with fluorescent marker.

#inktober day 14: roam

i think this one is petty fun. it also was a huge learning experience. i don't think i ever seriously tried to draw a bicycle before, much less a rider.

there is a lot of things that are still really rough, seem the handlebar went haywire in the inking phase, the bike has no (visible) breaks, and ahh don't look at the hands, lol. but i spent a lot of time on it and honestly I'm overall pretty proud of it.

still all drawn with GIMP & tablet.

#inktober day 12: remote.

again, not hugely inspired but an iconic design, i guess.

also i realized last minute that the left edge is weirdly bent so that it looks like the bottom is wider than the top. oh well.

this is not an endorsement. please don't give money to Nintendo. they use it to censor the net and destroy their competition. share ROMs with your friends and consider supporting emulator creators and console hackers.

#inktober day 11: snacks

again, no great inspiration today. but i looked out for some snacks that would be fun to draw and settled on these filled gingerbread hearts. also i ate the entire bag 😛.

drawn from a photo i made of them.

i kinda wanted to embrace simple geometry, but without shading or hatching it's a bit bland i guess. plans for tomorrow…

and i learned that the "handle transform tool" in GIMP is pretty great and you should check it out if you haven't…

more classical #inktober again. day 10: nomadic.

so i thought that camels probably live a somewhat nomadic life. wandering though deserts from oasis to oasis or something.

anyway, instead of checking that, i just really wanted to draw a camel (another first) and so here it is.

also i had no idea that camels were that fluffy 👀.

#inktober prompt #9: sun.

okay so i tried something new and i'm still not sure how well it worked 🤔

I tried to do some kind of "fractal" painting first painting the coarse details and then refining it. and the coarse stage actually worked pretty well after gaussian blurring it a lot. but adding in finer details felt like it would become increasingly tricky and time consuming, which i guess that's not surprising.

i tried a lot of new approches here.

#inktober prompt #8: hike

recommended listening while looking at the picture: youtube.com/watch?v=sbQvBPbQGv

this was the most effort i ever put in an inktober picture (a few hours) and i hope it shows. also colored the characters, It just felt right.

perspective is still pretty dang hard, but I'm happy it mostly came together at the end.

according to my plans, the next one will have a lot more color. :)

i was really struggling for an idea here. i chose calligraphy…ish. i guess it's a little cheating if you ctrl+z every other penstroke 😅.

not particularly proud of this one. maybe i could have done better on paper, tbh...

anyway, i think o got a good idea for tomorrow 😊.
