I met Deadmau5 at DEFCON this year in line for a talk but the dude was so down to earth I didn’t even know I actually met Deadmau5 and thought it was just a dude with the Deadmau5 mask. It didn’t click until I saw the DEFCON video footage that, “I FUCKING TALKED TO DEADMAU5!” #DeadMau5 #DEFCON

I know I've posted it before, but this song speaks to me, it's a banger. The depth here is great too, lyrically it's based on a story by Ray Bradbury about a virtual world children make for themselves and escape to.

The song coming together is a delightful story too, Deadmau5 released the tune without vocals, and Chris James (the singer) sent a recording via DM on twitter. Deadmau5 was streaming at the time, and he said he normally wouldn't respond to DMs like this, but asked his chat if he should just this once.

And so he did, he loved it, got it cleaned up and mixed in and here we are!
