[Wow, I love #Apple, but they are doing a great job burnishing their pariah corporation status, far from their earlier days.]

“Apple has blocked our Fortnite submission so we cannot release to the US App Store or to the Epic Games Store for iOS in the European Union,” the X account for Fortnite posted early Friday – claiming that Apple’s move would now prevent the game’s iOS availability around the world.

They're just trying to bully /manipulate Apple into restoring it. The ruling the other day nor the original required Apple to allow Fortnite on the AppStore. In fact the original said Epic broke the rules it agreed to and Apple could ban it. Might not be a popular opinion, but I'm not sure Apple should even have let them have it in the EU.

Three Ainu epics made it into this series; this is the first one. I fell in love with that whole tradition, for many reasons.

Long-Fingered-Woman is the name of the Ainu spider goddess. In this story, she has to deal with an unwanted suitor, and she does so in a genius way, while staying cool and nonchalant.

On a Monday, I needed to do something a little more relaxing than chores and catching up on the news. Another find from my treasure hoard of images captured in Flagstaff last summer. The quest or battles of this decorative iron "drawing" seem to have different interpretations depending on what is going on in your world when you see it. My first thoughts went to Day of the Dead skeletons trying to outrun attacks. But then I wonder if the helmets and surreal images show Nazi villains. Your guess?
