For over two years now I've been working on the revival of a community calendar that was built in the heady days of the sharing economy before Uber and friends extracted every ounce of community goodwill in their thurst for profit.

A FOSS self hosted community ecosystem calendar (like say one for the local indie band scene) seems like a natural fit for the fediverse.

I've been unpacking some ideas for how this might work in the discussions on the code repo.

Would love folks to give it a read and give any feedback.

Seeing how a lot of #solarpunk #illustration used by magazines, portals and even researchers tends to be #AI generated bullshit I'd like to start a gallery with curated, intentional and human-made #creativeCommons #art for anyone to use.

I'd also like it to be a place with #solarpunkPrompts available in multiple languages - as we have them in Polish, English and Italian - potentially cross-linked and tagged by themes.

Do you have any #ideas , #feedback for such a site?

Just created a @kagihq Feedback thread on crypto payment options.

Currently they use only Stripe billing, Paypal and Opennode's Bitcoin payment gate.

So if you have Ethereum, Monero or any other popular coin, then you're out of luck.

So, please vote if you also want more crypto payment options for privacy-oriented search engine.

"We noticed that you have maybe not had the time yet to complete our Guest Satisfaction Survey following your stay at the hotel ..."

Yes, that must be it. As opposed to being so fed up with my inbox being filled with surveys, customer feedback and review requests multiple times for every interaction I have with a business that I'm just about to add a spam filter dedicated to blocking this noise.

Elon Musk Freaks Out That People Are Bullying Him

Musk continues to insist he’s only doing “productive things.”

"Unfortunately for #Musk, #Tesla is not just a “peaceful” company but the customer-facing branch of his #corporate takeover of the US #government, which has seen essential lifesaving programs slashed & thousands of people out of #work.

And customer #feedback can be harsh."

The amount of spam I get about reviewing my experiences with stuff is getting ridiculous.

I bought a Kobo eBook reader from one shop, and a cover and stylus from another. Both stores want me to review the "experience" and one also wants a product review.

Even the company that transported my packages to the pick-up location wants a review, and gods know for what. They even sent a reminder when I ignored the first.

2 orders, 5 requests for review. Just go away already!
