Signing off with a bright, colourful #FFXIV shot of Il Mheg. I just did my custom deliveries here. I need the scrips ahead of starting to gather the materials for iL 740 craftable gear.
I kinda need a "content plan" for Ali so I have a step-by-step way to approach content not yet done, to avoid choice overload.
Next week I'm working on a LOTRO blog so I'd best go get what rest my body lets me have.

I just had a quick #FFXIV session. I don't need to level Viper, because I liked it too much so hit L100 pretty quickly with it. But I did my "society" quests and started listing content I've not completed with Ali.
Even without the need to level classes/jobs (which I have loads), there's plenty of side-quest content, the Variant Dungeons I've not done and the Sage questline to get back to (once I've practised a bit more first).
I like going slowly.

Right, it's been a long day. Poor sleep then travelling to my autism assessment (the second one), having said assessment, travelling back and basically crashing since then.
Heading off for meds and sleep and probably a late get-up to try and recover from social exertion today.

I don't know why I find it so funny that Shanotto, a Black Mage so powerful she transcends FFXI and FFXIV, is an Izzet card.
My #FFXIV FC friend is moving server for personal reasons, so I just had an hour dismantling my room in the FC house so they can demolish it.
This is in my apartment, which I'm not demolishing. I haven't decided whether to move with them or not, especially as I'd have to remake my own home.
Anyway, I'm too late to bed considering tomorrow is lunch out with wifey then my second autism assessment session.

I'm honestly so greatful for discords organizing runs in Chaotic, DRS, BA and soon whatever the instance in Occult Crescent is called. Dedicating your precious time to lead a large number of people at once and organize them is very gracious.
I spent about 20h in pf not being able to get past towers in CAR because people don't stay three pulls. I was beyond frustrated. It also proved that it's ok to let people make their mistakes, as long as you stay together for a while.
Give the devs who made the Dancing Green raid in FFXIV a raise!! I died 4 times but smiling the whole time. #FFXIV

All of my #FFXIV Paladin glowy swords were too broad for a (Dark) Jedi. I had a purply one, but then I couldn't find the right "feel" for the top, whereas I like this one on my Samurai glamour.
Thankfully I *did* have a glowing red Samurai blade, so I've switched it out for that.
I've also found a better hood but need to make it.

It's taken me ages to get this far on "endgame" crafting. I've made my own foods, teas and gathered all my own materials and aethersands.
And it has been totally worth it. I learned some new crafting rotation tricks from other players and spent time watching Ali craft, or travelling around for materials.
So much more satisfying than buying the gear. The next step is 740 combat gear & I've never crafted endgame combat gear before. A good brain challenge.
Forgot to sign off for the weekend, as I finally settled to obtaining the materials for the Everseeker's gathering gear in #FFXIV.
I'm just a few Condensed Solution short, but I'll have those by Tuesday.
This week has been...trying. I'm off to attempt to rest until Monday and hope that a day away from stuff helps.

Also, is there any other game that has turned non-combat professions into as complicated of a minigame as #FFXIV?
Hell, I suspect a lot of *crafting games* don't have anything approaching XIV's crafting system complexity (or even gathering system complexity, for that matter).
Oh lord, the #FFXIV cosmic exploration crafting missions are BRUTAL.
I tried to complete some of the third-level missions with a non-specialist and no consumables and they were all a complete crapshoot.
I've since crafted a bunch of food and pots and specialized and bought delineations because because why make it hard? But still, man, they are *not* making it easy. I'm going to have to really get good at L100 crafting to get through it.
It really is Crafting (Savage).
