Did some debugging on my crappy code from a few days ago and now it's behaving much better. I'm happy enough with this.

Inspired by a woodland hike under the first blue skies we've seen this year, I got home and showed my kiddo how to draw an #svg tree with recursive #python functions. The shape is very sensitive to parameters like the factors by which each branch is thinner and shorter than its parents, but we tuned them until our results looked like the trees we'd seen in the afternoon. #GenArt
A little more variation leads to striations. I guess I just wanted to say that word. Striation.
Hexagonal recursive division following some rules. Vector output and some post-treatment.
#Genuary put me on a roll, and I miss it. Everywhere I look I see inspiration for new pieces. So I decided to create a weekly(ish) work and pen-plot a series of iterations.
Here's the first one: “Keeping it together”.
This good old circle packing. Maximum iteration method (increasing radius).
"The End"
And that concludes my #genuary for this year #genuary2025
My third so far
In my first Genuary back in 2023, for the last day #genuary31 I recall doing something similar where the prompt said "Deliberately break one of your previous images, take one of your previous works and ruin it."
#CreativeCoding #PixelSorting #GenerativeArt #GenArt

I've been using #genuary to hide away from all the drama that has been unfolding during the month of January
My efforts may not have been entirely successful
"Infinite Scroll."
Any manifesto worth its salt is tediously long, if not infinite or nearly so. Also, many of them are indecipherable.
So, here is my manifesto. This is a continuation from the Genuary 2023 prompt on asemic writing (using lines and symbols that look like writing, but do not have any meaning).
It is left as an exercise for the reader to interpret the text.
