As an older and perhaps more casual #GT7 player, it usually takes me until the weekend to finish the weekly challenges. Also, this week, while everyone was moaning about the inability of the Viper to take a corner, I found myself wondering if I was feeling the same or if there were other factors at play. This morning, while my daughter finishes her homework, I've been mucking about with numbers. I want a set of numbers for #GT7 that looks handpainted, and just messy enough to stand out. I just freehanded what looks "ok" to my mind, rather than break out the font editing rulebook. I'm sure I'm doing it all wrong, but it's been fun figuring out weighting and angles.
Inspired by @neverbeaten, I've started racing #pony and #muscle cars in #GT7. Rather than going for pure horsepower (the easy bit!) I've focused on weight reduction and handling mods first, with a pretty open differential to control the back end! Couldn't resist adding a retro 70s livery on there while I was at it!
One of the things I go back to Gran Turismo 7 for is the retro dirt racing. After dialling back the feedback strength on my wheel, I can actually catch slides now! Helpful when pedalling rear-engined beasties around the course.

The #Lexus #LFA is one of the best sounding vehicles since Cugnot strapped a steam engine to a cart, and the Nismo 400R is practically #GranTurismo royalty.
Fast Pork is fast.
There's also a few American cars, but since there are no drag events beyond the 3 missions, there's not much use for them...

This week in #GranTurismo7 I have been mostly learning about Willow Springs, and the art of rallying.
The S13 has become my go-to car to learning new tracks, it's a sweet-handling platform.
The Beetle, not so much. It's very tail happy, especially with the Porsche engine swap.
I don't know how realistic the handling of cars over dirt is in the game, but it's a fun change away from tarmac.
@adastra I have it on PlayStation. Bought it during a sale for a few Euros. I played the story for a while and liked it a lot. Some other games - mostly #GT7 and currently #GhostofTsushima - took my playing time. So it is still installed but so many other games are waiting as well.
