Ehud<p>There was an interesting talk yesterday at <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/ISH2023" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ISH2023</span></a> by Katie Plaisance on collaborations between philosophers of science and scientists. She presented interesting data based on interviews.</p><p>One aspect that wasn't mentioned, and the often surprises me, is that scientists don't want to read. There are many reasons (time pressures; but also that they want a succinct claim). Conversely, we in the humanities like to send people to read a couple of papers or a monograph to get the lay of the land.</p>
