#Journal of a slightly anxious Dutch Pixy
(Wednesday, 26/03/2025).
@tldr please do your thing for me
.
I woke before the alarm. I got up, got to the scale, and while my health score was a bit lower, so was my weight. Yay. I got dressed, took my meds, and then cared for Arwen. She was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.
At the gym, I got through my notifications and chats, while I enjoyed my protein shake. When I checked it all and my meds had kicked in, I was ready to ride the seated bike. I managed half an hour and then my leg bummed out again. I had a massage in the chair and then I got ready to head back. It sometimes seems a waste to go to the gym when the drive is longer than my actual exercise time. But, the gym is more than that... And it means I can keep the routine as much as possible, to keep things "normal, as I know that I will have to abandon it for about 7 weeks in about two months...
I got back home and washed up. Changed clothes. Had brekky. And then Arwen and I got ready to head out. The weather was decent enough, not too cold, and it was dry. Arwen wanted a longer walkies so we did that.
I uploaded some snaps to Pixelfed and I watched some of the "Stay Close" series, as I didn't really feel like writing for my blog now.
When we got back, I was tired and not in the mood for exercising some. So... I crashed on the couch and watched my series some more, as I was eager to know how it would end. I felt a bit bad about not exercising, but I also felt that I should listen to my body. We'd be our for a walk in the Herperduin later this morning, so I needed some energy for that...
I fixed some food and then Arwen and I headed for walkies. When we got back home, I got my eReader and I read in my new book till bestie called on her way to work. After the call, I read some more. And then Arwen was getting anxious, as she had seen me put the walkies towel next to the door, so she knew that we'd be heading out for walkies later. But usually, we go early, so she's not really used to waiting... Which drive me a bit nuts... So when our friend texted that they were finally (according to Arwen) heading towards the Herperduin, Arwen got more excited.
We headed there too after a while they came up the parking. We headed to the woods and had a lovely walk. I didn't take any snaps, so sorry, don't have anything so share...
Was too busy chatting while playing with Arwen...
When we got back, I fixed food for Arwen and me. And then we just had to relax, as we were both worn out some from the walkies. And I was finally relieving some of the anxiety of the last day, with the call and the surgery news and all that. So now I started to worry a bit, of I could arrange everything properly, if there'd be enough help, if I could do this.... So yeah, that didn't really help me relax...
When I finished the mini-series, I just got back to Downton, as I was too tired for something else. We relaxed till it was time to walk with N&B. We had a nice walk and Arwen had loads of splashes again. Because, you know, she had not been in the water in ages!
We relaxed a bit on the couch till it was time to get ready for bed. Last wee for Arwen and all that. It didn't take too long for me to fall asleep. Woke once for the loo. And then again, an hour before the alarm, due to loud sounds, probably of a military cargo plane getting lower to land near Uden. So yeah, I was awake, and I got up...
