I found this short video fascinating, especially when Marie-Louise von Franz (who is incredible btw) talks about the concept of a national shadow and how knowing one's personal shadow can help keep one from falling into a collective shadow. But the rest is great too.

1. Today I planned to finish #reading #Dracula.
2. But instead I started to #read a #Jung #book.
3. Just now I've taken a break from a master's thesis about #Jungian readings of Dracula because it's time to put the kettle on.

I meant to post this yesterday but was such a husk of a human that I couldn't even be bothered masturbating. My nervous system seemed to have gone into hibernation after Monday's inspection. They're SO invasive.

If you have never seen this 14 minute, #experimental silent #film by #MayaDeren, I encourage you to do so. It's strange, hard to explain, #Jungian, and beautiful in it's own way. It's considered one of the most important films in the history of #cinema and, especially, of #ExperimentalFilm. Some might think it's a little rough around the edges, and it is, but the #creativity carries it. Also, it's total budget was only $275. Amazing.
