Seriously, stuff like this should be #outlawed and we need actual #ConsumerProtection and #regulation that classifies #PetCare and #PetToys with the same protections as #Toddler #toys.
Because cats being killed by an "automatic #LitterBox" is just the most horrific and inexcuseable product fault there could be.
Cat fediverse, I have a question about litter boxes!
When my cat is using the litter box, I tend to look away from her. My thinking is "When I'm pooping, I wouldn't want some creepy human watching me."
But am I just anthropomorphizing? When I use my toilet at home, my cat does watch me, and if I check my phone while on the toilet she meows for attention. Might she actually want me to watch her use the litter box?
What do y'all think? Are there any actual scientific studies on this I could read?

Well, it's a gloomy morning but I have my coffee.
Litter boxes are announcing the fact that they were neglected yesterday...LOUDLY. Nothing says morning like the fresh aroma of cat poo, does it?
I think they all made sure to march to a litter box & make a deposit just before I got up & opened the bedroom door. I have a really good idea of what will occupy hubby & I this morning...
