Here you go! Enjoy a lazy retro-CRT-effect version…
(probably only works if you view the video larger than a thumbnail on a high res display)
Tried something different for Tiny Code Christmas today: an attempt at doing the most literal translation of the “Rasterbars" problem that I can do into Flitter. I was interested in seeing how close I could get to the TIC-80 demo and the starting code.
The core drawing function is surprisingly close to the Lua original, despite Flitter being a completely different paradigm:

lost control over my attempts to do #lovebytetcc - this was intended to be a tunnel
we're not going to speak about what happened to the Day 5 Extra challenge. but through inhuman effort i have brought myself to touch a computer again
#tcc4extra #lovebytetcc playing with the roto effect, everything else i made today was definitely too seizure- or nausea-inducing to post even with a CW :)
#tcc3extra #lovebytetcc a quick one, but already liking this for "coolest looking connected dots effect"
#tcc2extra #lovebytetcc these metaballs are hesitantly making their minds up about one another. they're not even sizecoded
#tcc2 #lovebytetcc tree looks slightly more constrained, has a chaotic blizzard of snow, 180 chars, yes i need to go out
only dipped into the Extra challenges last year, so a lot of TCC is still fresh for me!
a warped version of the fire effect with a kernel size big enough to make a laptop fan whirr, more like cellulose burning up on a projector #lovebytetcc #tcc1extra
can't get back to sleep, so i'm doing Tiny Code Christmas on the #tic80 (again)
this is a tree, all right, it's 120 characters, don't @ me
#LovebyteTCC starts Monday 9th December!
It's @lovebyteparty's 12-day series of short tutorials, walking through making classic visual demo effects with code on accessible platforms (#Pico8 & #TIC80, tho anything goes).
The focus of the challenges is sizecoding, and it usually gathers a fab cohort of supportive folks.
I did it two years ago and left with a brilliant hobby that brought me a new set of lovely, creative, interesting friends

Did you participate in the Lovebyte New Talent compo?
Or any other compo, for that matter?
Once the compo is over, the entries will appear on the official demoscene archive, demozoo (https://demozoo.org/parties/4760/).
If you can, please complete the information for your entry as much as possible .
Just updated all the info for my @lovebyteparty initial demoscene production "hellschreiber"

It's also live for re-watching (or watching for the first time )

Now, @lovebyteparty New Talent Competition!
A personal highlight. Good luck to all those taking part, especially ##LovebyteTCC grads. And obvs, good luck with scoreboard placement, but that can be a bit arbitrary - participation and enjoyment of the art in itself is the real prize!
Since our son Emil was born last summer I did not have much time for personal creative practice, but during the Christmas holidays I had some fun getting into a virtual game console called TIC-80 thanks to #lovebytetcc.
So I did my first 256 byte demoscene production for the
@lovebyteparty new-talent competition.
The final timetable for Lovebyte is online!
A well-packed schedule all the way from Friday evening until late on Sunday.
Competitions, showcases, seminars, DJ sets, and a whole (tiny) lot more...
So what are *you* most looking forward to?
@ultrazool @stevefaeembra @kgjenkins @lovebyteparty @gigabates Of course selfishly I would love for all of you #lovebytetcc people to enter because my aim was to introduce newcomers to the demoscene. The scene has been an amazing creative outlet for me and I wanted to share that with others.
How to submit a production to Lovebyte!
We've put together this quick video to answer any last minute questions you might have about how to submit your entry to Lovebyte!
The deadline is 23:59 UTC+1 so make sure to get your entries in on time!
The Lovebyte deadline is tonight at 23.59 (UTC+1)!!! Any #LovebyteTCC people taking part in the newcomer competition?
Congratulations to all graduates of #AdventOfCode, #LovebyteTCC, and #Genuary!
Can I propose #Fibbuary?
