Guess what I found hanging on the wall tonight, behind a bunch of old alternator belts and a crumbling piece of rubber hose.

Yup, a draw knife, a few days after I wanted one. How awesome is that.

The bark spade is still better for debarking, but I did want a draw knife too!

I got a plant for £1 from the garden centre at the end of the summer. It was a tomato plant and I though, hey, why not...

It grew...
and grew,
and grew...

and the autmun came and I brought it inside my kitchen.

I asked advide. People told me it might die -
or maybe it would live?

It lived.

Today, on Feb 1 these are the tomatoes I picked.

It is still flowering and continues to fruit.
It reminds me to keep on keeping on.

My husband was in the mood to bake yesterday. He made pastry dough. Today, while I wrote, he turned that into pain au chocolat. I feel spoiled.

3) Outrage. I got several times today to express frustration, outrage, & disbelief within a group of my peers and bosses. What’s good about that? Outrage feels good to vent. It’s addictive, & I need to cut it out now, but still exhilarating in the moment. Also, my boss can handle venting in controlled doses. #Lucky
