Gotta love good ol' 1-bit pixel dithering (ordered, Floyd-Steinberg, etc.) 💚

@golgaloth @mrundkvist I’ve been a #LibreOffice user from its beginning on my #Windows PC, my #Mac, and my ex-Windows PC revived with #Linux. I wrote my dissertation in using LiO. Now I probably would switch to #iWork, particularly #Numbers as it’s much more versatile but, because iWork uses walled-garden file formats instead of #ODF, it is useless for collaborating with anyone not in the Apple ecosystem. LiO, on the other hand, works on any OS and even mobile devices and tablets via #Collabora.

macOS Sequoia 15.5... is there any way to change/turn off what app tries to autoplay an audio CD? Apple Music insists on launching and trying to import it. Maybe I just need to delete Apple Music?

There seems to no longer be a system preference for this...

Who here changed from Windows to Linux after the whole Windows Recall fiasco, and are you still using Linux?

Replied to Cliff

@cliffwade @amerpie I took a brief look at it. It’s simple and certainly appears to work, but I discovered a different system which will apparently work with #Windows, #Mac and #Linux (all of which I use these days), using my licensed copy of #SyncBackPro for Windows. Plus, that allows me to choose a backup destination that isn’t just a local drive on the same box, and I can compress and do delta backups and a whole stack of other stuff.

MacOS users...

What backup software do you use on your MacOS devices?

I don't need anything fancy, just something in case something happens at some point.

Is Time Machine good and/or recommended? Is there something different or better that y'all recommend?
