Started working on the UI to choose which release set to view on the web. Tomorrow let's add server-side resolution for many of the components since swift can help a lot there. See you then!

It is nice to see Linux growing. The question is why? Microsoft does not make it easy to switch. Is this a result of Microsoft and Apple aggressively sunsetting OS versions and Linux being the way to keep HW working? Or is this just more people realizing that Linux is great? Some other reason?

I don't know if you knew but on the macOS Command-Tab switcher if you keep Command held down you can quit apps by tapping Q. For Firefox this just flat out quits the app without asking if i want to keep the 6,137 tabs open. Neat (ish).

For those not following #m68kMicroPython development, a lot has been happening rather quickly in the last couple of weeks!

There's enough support for the Toolbox now that I've been able to re-create the #Macstodon splash/loading screen with it - see below.

Big thanks to @stylus for all his hard work developing the port and making this possible!

Tossing this into the fediverse on the off chance someone is familiar with the problem and a fix.

My father is on a 2015 iMac (Intel Core i7) running macOS 12 Monterey.

PDFs are not opening properly, in a number of ways. This is the case for both Preview *and* Adobe Acrobat:

- If the app is not running, dragging a PDF over the app icon on the dock does nothing; the app doesn't launch.
- Double-clicking or selecting “Open With" from the contextual menu *will* launch the app and open the first document.
- Any successive documents will *not* open via double-clicking/the contextual menu/dragging to the dock.
- They will, however, be opened if “Open..." is selected from the File menu within the app.

- The same thing does *not* happen with TextEdit files or OpenOffice files - those apps behave normally and open successive files. It's just PDFs in Preview and Adobe Acrobat.

Any ideas? I find it odd that the problem exists over different apps, but not different filetypes. If I get desperate I will wipe and reinstall the system, but I'm hoping someone has a more refined fix before I have to resort to that.

"Recently I had a semi-serious medical issue, and I realized that my medical history (and the medical history of my family members) is a lot more complicated than I realized and distributed across the many healthcare providers I've used over the years. I wanted a single (private) location to store our medical records, and I just couldn't find any software that worked as I'd like: so I built it"

Tried to limit the size of posters with CSS, but didn't come up with anything that works… Tomorrow let’s leave them as is and just add a list underneath. See you then!
