CliffChecked out Mario Kart World this morning on the Switch 2. I haven't played Mario Kart since the original Wii console, many, many years ago, so yes, it's been a while and I was having to learn everything all over again.Super fun game, especially the online stuff where you have up to 24 players in total. The highest I managed to finish was 9th, which I feel isn't too bad. Jake in the desertMario Kart World coming for Switch 2 looks good, I'm a Kart fanatic so I'll definitely try it at some point. I dug the new Mario movie despite it having Chris Pratt, but I'm a little bummed that (inevitably) they're using the new movie designs for the characters now. But time moves on. April 17 is the Direct for World and now we know of Knockout Tour mode, where players take part in races from one corner of the world to another with checkpoints, and players are eliminated if they're last to reach certain checkpoints.
