HELP: I have a mint plant that is getting out of hand - I need some recepies, ways to store the exess leaves, and/or suggestions what to use the leaves for since it needs trimming and I don't want to throw the leaves away!

Not super laborous stuff, thank you. I am disabled and may have gone over board with our plant collection since our cats died...

I decided to try to grow some cucumbers (National Pickling) in the mint bed along the alley, as it receives more sun than most of my garden. I started the plants from seed, then transplanted, adding a rather old metal trellis propped up with some equally old garden stakes. And the cucumber plants have grown up and over the mint, and I am beginning to harvest cucumbers.

#Linux #Mint anbietet.

Okay so I'm going to need a new music player, and am accepting recommendations... My absolutely necessary qualities are: Runs on Mint, needs to be easy to install, absolutely must have a playlist sorting mechanism that allows me to make it do in a descending order (artist, album, album date, track number) and lets me customise the order of columns also.

Tried Clementine and can't figure out how to do these in it, and am too tired to figure out if you even can?

My XFce Win11-like theme under Linux #Mint. The theme has a couple of bugs, but overall it works well.

I found that XFce is the most themeable of the DEs, however it has started showing its age. For example, no connection of open apps to their launcher (they open a second icon), no "live" thumbnail of an open app, etc.

Hey #linux users. Please boost.

I maintain (remotely) ~10 linux laptops for a client. I've used #ubuntu LTS for years because they don't need anything fancy, stability is more important that bang-up-to-dateness. But I've gone off Ubuntu because of #snaps and it increasingly pushing adverts/pro-services.

Anyone got any experience with remote admin-ing and maintaining linux laptops? Would prefer #gnome based.

Finally managed to properly install Caesar III under #Linux, to run under the open source re-implementation of the gaming engine, #Augustus. It wasn't as straightforward under Linux due to case sensitivity on files, and a special tool to unarchive shielded .cab files, but it worked at the end thanks to the wiki. Bear in mind, the game requires the original artwork from 1998 (easily found online).
