Das Alte Rathaus in Bamberg ist eines der bedeutendsten Bauwerke, die die historische Innenstadt prägen. Es befindet sich zwischen Berg- und Inselstadt im linken Regnitzarm.

Das Wahrzeichen ist in den Fluss Regnitz gebaut, Obere und Untere Brücke (ursprünglich eine Privatbrücke) führen von ihm weg. Im Inneren ist die zu den Museen der Stadt Bamberg gehörende Porzellansammlung Ludwig ausgestellt, eine der größten ihrer Art in Europa.

These pictures are a perfect demonstration of why I love to travel without doing research in advance. I typically will plan a few places to go the day of or the day before my flight. I was walking around the city, because I knew something was here but I did not know what to expect.

Well, I was struct, in awe. This building was massive, the grounds of the place were huge and everything here was impressive. If I lived in this city, I could see myself coming here just to walk around and take it all in.
